Welcome to Steve Hartman Art

Steve Hartman is an American artist creating in the Midwest and exhibiting nationwide. Paintings and prints are available for the commercial and interior spaces.

Steve Hartman is an American artist and creative director working from the Midwest. 30 years a designer and longer as an artist/creator, Steve experiments with random and loose applications of color, light and textures. Precision as a graphic designer in his day job juxtaposed with making art with the opposing theory of happenstance and happy accidents balances out Steve's creative investigations—both inspire each other.

Steve Hartman’s art has been exhibit at 31art Gallery | St. Louis Lambert International Airport | Denver Art Museum | Houska Gallery | Soulard Art Gallery | Edwardsville Arts Center | Art Saint Louis | St. Louis Artists Guild | Cedarhurst Art Center | AIGA New York | The Studio Door | The Gogh-Getters | Angad Arts Hotel | Springfield Arts Association | Webster Arts | Jacoby Arts Center | The Tarble Arts Center at Eastern Illinois University | Jones Soda Bottles and his mother’s refrigerator door.
